    Depending on the client, the project and the task, we team up with the best in the field; law firms, geologists, lobbyists, engineers, and other local experts.

    Mr. Baeza is a prominent lawyer with 25 years of experience. His obtain his bachelor degree from Universidad de Chile, the best law school in the country. He holds a LL.M. from the University of Dundee, Scotland and negotiation courses in Harvard Law School. After several years of private practice, he started an in-house career and worked for some major mining companies. He interns at Rio Tinto plc headquarters in England, was the Legal Manager of Minera Mantos de Oro, operated by Goldcorp. He acted for 8 years as Senior Lawyer and then Vice president General Counsel for Kinross Corporation Chile and another 8 years as the Vice President & General Counsel of Sierra Gorda SCM, the latest large copper and molybdenum project built in Chile. In this position he led 8 different department, including all legal and social areas of the company: Legal, External Affairs, Mining Tenure, Compliance, Permits, Communities, Environment and Sustainability.

    Mr. Baeza is now a consultant, an official Mediator of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, and the International Program Fellow of The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law (Formerly Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation).
